About Us We have been happily married for seven years. In May 2003, we were blessed with the birth of our beautiful baby girl, Peyton, who is such a joy that we can't wait to grow our family through open adoption. Our Life Together We picked Brownsburg as the place to settle down because it is a safe, family-oriented community ideal for raising children, with close proximity to Matt's family and schools. Matt works as a Technical Supervisor for a local chemical company. His job allows him a lot of flexibility so that he is able to make raising our children a priority. Karen is a Certified Public Accountant for a large public accounting firm. Her job provides us a comfortable lifestyle and leaves plenty of quality time to be spent with the most important people in her life - her family! We are a healthy, active family who enjoys outdoor activities and exercise. We have fun traveling with family and friends on beach vacations, ski trips and trips to water and amusement parks. About Matt by Karen "Matt is a loving husband and wonderful daddy. He is patient, fun and dedicated to his family. He loves playing and watching sports, and the child in him comes through when he coaches Peyton and her playmates in golf, skiing and soccer. Matt is a terrific cook and cannot wait to teach our kids how to cook our favorite recipes." About Karen by Matt "Karen is a compassionate and generous wife and mother. Her favorite time with Peyton is just before bedtime. Karen and Peyton sit in bed together, read books, practice Spanish and giggle hysterically as they talk about their day. Karen has lived all over the world and loves to visit and explore new places." About Peyton "Peyton is an independent, sweet, funny and very happy little girl. She cannot wait to have a baby brother or sister. She loves to rock her stuffed animals and baby dolls to sleep, as she pats them on the back. She is excited to share the things she loves with a brother or sister like playing outside, reading books, drawing, swimming and soccer." Our Home We own a home in Brownsburg, a small town only 20 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. Our warm and loving home is always open to family and friends. Our large back yard has plenty of room for the kids and Otis, our six-year old golden retriever, to play. Peyton loves to play at the park with her neighborhood friends, which is practically in our back yard. Our small neighborhood is full of families with children of all ages. Our Family Our families are very excited and supportive of our plans to adopt and look forward to welcoming a new little one into the family! Matt has a younger brother and sister. Karen has an older brother and twin sister. Peyton is looking forward to sharing the love of her many aunts, uncles and cousins with her new brother or sister. And, of course, the grandparents are always awaiting the arrival of another grandchild to love and spoil. With Matt's parents and brother only living minutes way; walks in the neighborhood, trips to the park and swimming pool, or just a fun afternoon at papaw and memaw's are frequent activities for Peyton. Karen's family lives in Tucson, Arizona and visits Indiana frequently. We also make frequent trips to Arizona where we enjoy the warm sun and spend time swimming and hiking. back to top
